HRiP is an international law practice based in The Hague and operating internationally. It provides legal advice, legal representation and support in strategic human rights litigation before international and regional courts and bodies, intervenes selectively in national courts on international standards, conducts capacity building, and engages in consultancy research projects and legal publications. Though the work spans many areas of human rights law and practice, HRiP prioritises areas where the protection of rights or the rule of law is rendered particularly vulnerable, such as in the context of counter-terrorism, armed conflict or climate change.
The practice is run by Helen Duffy, an experienced international lawyer, and operates in partnership with lawyers and activists around the world.
